Double Day House - 1997 - 5 7/8 " x 11" - acrylic on board

This building, built in 1804, was the birth place of Major General Abner Doubleday. He was credited with firing the first shot from Fort Sumpter at the beginning of the Civil War and with devising the game of baseball at Copperstown, NY.
